WHAT THE FEED FINDS
Public permits, read for your trade
New homes are permitted by the City of Phoenix long before anyone moves in. The records are public, but finding the new residences among thousands of permits a month is slow work. We read the permit descriptions from two official City of Phoenix GIS feeds, flag new residential construction, and email those projects to you on your schedule.
Each match includes the reason it was flagged, “A new residence may need window coverings,” plus the issue date and city source, so you can plan when to reach out as each home moves toward completion.
Which Phoenix permits match blinds and shutters
- New single-family homes and other new residential construction.
- Solar, battery, electrical, mechanical and plumbing-only permits are left out.
We skip permits for repairs, resurfacing, demolition and removals, and permits the city lists as cancelled, withdrawn, void, closed or final. One permit can match more than one trade.
What each permit shows
Every record includes its issue date, the project description from the city, the official city source, and the reason it may fit your trade. Some city records leave out the street address. When a single city parcel contains the permit location, we show that parcel address, clearly labeled as a GIS parcel location. No homeowner phone number or email is promised.

For blinds and shutters businesses across the Valley
Window covering companies use the feed to see which neighborhoods have new homes on the way, plan showroom or in-home outreach, and follow up with builders or new owners. A permit does not mean the owner is ready to buy, so time your follow-up to each project.
Your office doesn’t need a Phoenix address. Contractors based in Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Peoria, Paradise Valley and the rest of the Valley can sign up if they work in the City of Phoenix. Every permit in this feed is issued by the City of Phoenix; we do not cover other cities yet.

Blinds & shutters feed questions
Which permits count as blinds and shutters matches?
New single-family homes and other new residential construction. Permits that are only for solar, batteries, electrical, mechanical or plumbing work are left out, as are repairs and cancelled or withdrawn permits.
When should I reach out on a new home permit?
That is your call. A permit is issued before construction, so many businesses follow a project and reach out closer to completion. Every record shows its issue date so you can plan.
Can my business be based outside Phoenix?
Yes. Businesses in Scottsdale, Mesa, Paradise Valley, Peoria and the rest of the Valley can sign up if they work in Phoenix. Every permit in this service is issued by the City of Phoenix.
Are these leads or permits?
They are public permit records with an explanation of why each project may need your trade. We do not promise homeowner contact information, interest in hiring, an unassigned job, or a guaranteed sale.
How old are the free samples?
The 10 sample permits are historical records issued August 17–September 2, 2026. Every card shows its exact issue date. The sample is separate from the ongoing Free Weekly plan.
