WHAT THE FEED FINDS
Public permits, read for your trade
Every new single-family home and every new pool starts with a permit from the City of Phoenix. Those records are public, but finding the ones that matter to a fence company means searching city data by hand, day after day. We read the permit descriptions from two official City of Phoenix GIS feeds, flag the projects that may need fencing, and email them to you on the schedule you choose.
Each match comes with a short reason, such as “New residential construction may create demand for perimeter fencing” or “A pool project may create a need for barrier or fence work; verify the project scope.” You see why the permit was flagged and decide whether it fits your crews, your service area and the size of job you want.
Which Phoenix permits match fencing
- New single-family homes and other new residential construction (perimeter fencing).
- New swimming pool and pool construction permits (barrier or fence work; verify the scope).
- Permits that describe fence, retaining wall or block wall work.
We skip permits for repairs, resurfacing, demolition and removals, and permits the city lists as cancelled, withdrawn, void, closed or final. One permit can match more than one trade.
What each permit shows
Every record includes its issue date, the project description from the city, the official city source, and the reason it may fit your trade. Some city records leave out the street address. When a single city parcel contains the permit location, we show that parcel address, clearly labeled as a GIS parcel location. No homeowner phone number or email is promised.

For fencing businesses across the Valley
Fence contractors use the feed to see where new homes and pools are going up across Phoenix, plan neighborhood visits, and reach out to builders or owners while a project is still taking shape. A permit does not mean the owner is hiring or that the work is still open, so treat each record as a project to research, not a booked job.
Your office doesn’t need a Phoenix address. Contractors based in Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Peoria, Paradise Valley and the rest of the Valley can sign up if they work in the City of Phoenix. Every permit in this feed is issued by the City of Phoenix; we do not cover other cities yet.

Fencing feed questions
Which permits count as fencing matches?
New residential construction, new pool construction, and permits that describe fence, retaining wall or block wall work. Permits for repairs, demolition, removals and cancelled or withdrawn work are left out.
Does a pool permit mean the owner needs a fence?
Not always. A pool project may create a need for barrier or fence work, so we flag it with that reason. Check the project scope before you reach out.
Can my business be based outside Phoenix?
Yes. Businesses in Scottsdale, Mesa, Paradise Valley, Peoria and the rest of the Valley can sign up if they work in Phoenix. Every permit in this service is issued by the City of Phoenix.
Are these leads or permits?
They are public permit records with an explanation of why each project may need your trade. We do not promise homeowner contact information, interest in hiring, an unassigned job, or a guaranteed sale.
How old are the free samples?
The 10 sample permits are historical records issued August 17–September 2, 2026. Every card shows its exact issue date. The sample is separate from the ongoing Free Weekly plan.
